Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Don't forget about college vs standard (? the wider one) ruling!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Congratulations on re-studenting, Theo!

And yay new job and going for change even when it scares you, sarameg!

And Sophia, paying off creditors is not boring. Being your own woman and the boss of your own money is a noble and excellent goal (this means you will be at the next F2F, right?).

And Happy Fourth Birthday, Casper!

I have a couple of hours of painfully dull data entry ahead of me; I'm saving the paperdol/SJR interview for then. It shall be a balm unto my brain (the paperdol half, anyway).

not your mom's socks.

I think I missed paperdol's interview - gah.

Theodosia - this is so exciting (::dragons!::) go you! I used to teach the web programming before I Was Moved, if ever I can be of assistance...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Montessori goes all the way up to over 20, though I don't know anyone who stayed that long.

Congratulations to a) Theo b) sarameg c) Sophia d) Casper e) all of the above and then some.

Swouncing

Sox, thanks to the good advice of people here, I downloaded the mp3 file of the show with paperdol's interview here. Her part starts around an hour after the beginning of the show.

paperdol, you sounded great! Intelligent and witty and they actually had a conversation with you about the book, the people aspect, and didn't just try to squeeze the whole "the internet wants your daughters" part of it all. Also, I just love your laughter. I was stopping the show at random spots, trying to find your part, when I "fell" on a part where you laughed, and I immediately knew it was you. Lovely.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Don't forget about college vs standard (? the wider one) ruling!

Ack! :: dissolves in a puddle of indecision, reforms, then dissolves again as the question of what color the ruled lines should be comes up ::

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Can't wait to get home and listen to paperdol's interview!

Theo, remember -- type of lines, pockets, one subject or two, -- don't matter. The only thing that matters is the COVER

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My lunch is calling me.
