Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

If only!

My cousin (who I now won't get to see) sent me this. [link] Test your geekitude. I'm surprised I'm only between total and utter geek.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think I might have a tapeworm! Seriously, yesterday I was in a situation where I was hungry and couldn't eat from about 9 am - 4 pm, and I was so hungry I almost killed people. When I got home, I ate a sandwhich, and a couple of hours later I had a huge dinner (small steak, cauliflower, 2 ears of corn, potatoes, and tomato salad). This morning I woke up ravenous again, and I had yogurt with fresh peaches cut up in in and a bagel with chive cream cheese. 1 hour ago for lunch I had a the same thing I had for dinner last night minus the tomato salad and I am still hungry. Like, my stomach is growling and I have a horrible headache hungry.

Sophia, this is a really belated answer, but that sounds like a blood sugar thing. You can get symptoms like that both with diabetes or hypoglycemia which is its opposite.

If you are still having symptoms, you might want to consider getting it checked out. I don't know if you are insured or not, but if not I think there are free programs around to test for diabetes and hypoglycemia.

Swouncing

Skippity to post that, according to Nutty "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Aug 28, 2003 2:08:39 pm PDT today is Casper's birthday.

Happy birthday, Casper! Happy day, flea, and all your family!

(I can only believe that Casper is already four years old because I worked so hard on believing that Franny is at the same age, last week. Otherwise, I would wow-she-did-it-quickly all over the place, again.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo birdies, Casper!

I missed the eclipse, damn it. If I'm going to have insomnia, why didn't it hit two or three hours ago (as it usually does) when I could have gotten up and watched the moon being eaten?

Oh well, at least I woke up and I didn't dream that I was a college student again -- I really am!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I feel ill. Actually, the whole lower half of my body aches like hell, especially when I try to move. But that's about the only symptom.

So I'm confused as to what's up, and whether I should stay home from work today....

Don't miss the eclipse, ND! It's already set over here.

Trust my rage

Happy Birthday, Casper! How did 4 get here so fast?

Kitten update: The mom, I assume, came to visit them in the night. I left them water and they look healthy so I'm hoping they stay in the garage today. I tried to block the entrance to the backyard so hopefully, they won't head out there.

I'm going to contact the vet at Ft. Buchanan. Spay/neutering isn't really a thing here, but I'm going to see if the vet on the base does it and if they can recommend a shelter.

eta: I sent an email to the Humane Society. (Calling here always gets me stressed out.) It's not too far from my house and I"m hoping they will have some ideas for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(I can only believe that Casper is already four years old because I worked so hard on believing that Franny is at the same age, last week. Otherwise, I would wow-she-did-it-quickly all over the place, again.)

Seriously. Happy birthday, Casper!!

Stephanie, you're doing a good thing, trying to figure out what to do with those kittens.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthday Casper!

Happy School Theo!

Happy new job Sara!

I've never seen paperdol in person, but in pictures she is beautiful!

Thanks for the congrats! I am getting more excited, but really I would like to pay off my creditors, which is pretty boring.

Thanks typo- I have been checked, but not recently. I have had the crazy weird cranky hungry thing all my life, and I am supposedly borderline hypoglycemic- whatever that means. Normally I pretty much either don't eat in the morning, or plan my life so I can eat every three hours. I knew about the cranky mean hungries, but I didn't associate it with the being hungry thing.
