Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I used to like roller coasters but after a trip to one park where I kept getting slammed around in the coasters(my head kept whipping back and forth) and another trip where I realized I don't really like the "coming out of my seat" feeling I'm not so thrilled anymore.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Getting all set to do several loads of laundry and then discovering you only have enough detergent for one load is one of those signs that you fail as an adult, isn't it?

Liese, that packaging is so handy for taking your NE dvd collection with you everywhere. . .just in case you have an NE emergency.

Random puppy of the day. I love it when border collies have that very asymmetrical look.

And Daily Puppy a charming Shih Tzu cross.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

sumi, totally! You never know when you're going to suddenly need the episode with the trebuchet and the piano! You have to be prepared.

Also, I tend to think conspiracy theorists are people who suffer from too structured a frame of reference onto the world.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

I think I'm a conspiracy theorist because I deeply love competence, and it would take amazing competence to pull off most of the conspiracies I believe. I was tempted to put in quotes the word "believe," 'cause it's pretty nebulous, but I felt I was betraying conspiracy theorists everywhere.

Also, remember it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you!

Art Crawl!!!

I'm watching Hidden Potential on HGTV. It's so odd - the backing soundtrack and the voiceover are on but the regular sound is not. I don't know how that happens -- bad editing?

It's too late to for Hec to avoid the consequences of shrift's picspam, but I offer more baby picspam anyway. Noah had a totally tubeless morning, and cooperated by not being entirely cranky. And he was still cute later in the day, retubed. Grace got quality time with Grandma.
