Jersey Shore. All my family and friends. Lots of good food. Perfect water. Boardwalk.
My perfect weekend would be one in my new house-to-be.
That is as far as my brain can think right now.
Oooh, I could go for a Jersey Shore weekend, too, but then I'm going to visit family there in a week or so anyway.
It's been 9 years since I've been in London, which is about 9 years too long. That's where I'd be. Only hard part would be deciding what to do with so little time.
On the beach at Isla Mujeres in Mexico, looking at turquoise water while sipping a cool lemonade and reading a good book.
My Maine weekend with my family a couple of weeks ago was close, with the lovely inn right on the freaking water, including the lovely porch to sit on and look at the ocean. Changes to make it perfect: an actual sandy beach to hang out on, my own room, and about 30% less family time. And no rain.
Now, to figure out who sells EW in my little town.
Alas, no one here. And I have to wait for Amazon for the book, too. But, yeah! It's almost August, Vampire People-For-Me time.
Right now, the perfect weekend for me would be a weekend in a clean house, not being sick. With perhaps a cookout at Sandy Beach or Auke Rec, or maybe Lena Point. And fresh fruit. Nice.

Sighhh...
All that deep deep sand. And the breakers off Barnegate. Glorious.
One in which I don't have to pack.
