If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sheryl, so sorry for your loss.

i guess we're supposed to be able to remember where it left off.

I feel like I watched that but I remember not the slightest detail.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I don't think you'll drink $20 worth of booze

I could try.

I could try.

A worthy endeavor!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

So very sorry, Sheryl.

I'm procrastinating on writing a cover letter to send with a resume for a job I could do with one arm tied, et cet. Hey, paperdol, will you write my letter if I do your radio interview?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It wouldn't even be ass o'clock for you, Theo!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

We're having a wicked storm, lightning and everything. It's close enough that the lightning strikes are making the power do strange things.

Awesome, yet freaky as hell.

It's 90 here. I'm hiding in the living room, with the poor little AC on Full Wheezing Blast.

Finished the stupid cover letter and sent it off. I feel like I should post it in the Buffista fiction thread or something. Though mostly I suppose it's true the nice things I said about myself.

It's not boasting if it's true, right?

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Ailleann, I'm sorry to say, if storms move northeast, you're in for a long, long stretch of storms. Because we have them, and they stretch all the way down to the west of Louisville.

Because my office building is floor-to-ceiling windows on the exterior walls, when it rains like this, it feels like being in a washing machine.
