I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have a sixty-page document that I have to review for double-spacing after periods and use of serial commas. I'm searching for a way to blame this on you guys.

Re: Expensive commutes

Yeah, as a percentage of incomes, LA's curve is all whacked out. I think we also have a fairly large percentage of people in the city who work non-standard jobs and hours, thus their commutes are not necessarily during the worst of rush hour. Also, while not as useful as public transportation in some other cities, our public transportation here is still pretty extensive.

For public tranportation reasons alone, I was very much NOT expecting NYC to be on the list (which it wasn't, of course).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Isn't Runaway Bunny the creepy stalker one? I like Isaac's version much better.

I have decided that it's the weather that is making me cranky today, because I am not the only one in the office who feels like this.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"Are you my mommy bunny?"
Very cute.

There's a book out there with a llama mama in it. I was reading it to J but kept getting distracted into, "Llama, llama, llama!" so I don't really remember what it actually said.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Same cat will attempt to eat Pete's head on a regular basis, as if he were a human Tootsie Roll Pop.

Nom nom nom! Pete has a flavor!

But how many licks does it take to reach the spicy brains center of the Pete flavored Tootsie Roll Pop?

hip deep in pie

Mom had a cat that loved leather. She would find any pair of leather shoes or purse and then rub herself up on it, flop down, and start writhing in ecstasy on whatever it was.

One of my cats loves leather. Loves to scratch it! He never does it to shoes, but coats and bags don't fare well. I will never have leather furniture as long as that cat lives.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

There's a book out there with a llama mama in it.

I think it's Is Your Mama a Llama? I bought that for niecey and she loves it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Michael Vick, the NFL quarterback who was running dogfights, will plead guilty and will do jail time, and may be banned from the NFL for life.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

But how many licks does it take to reach the spicy brains center of the Pete flavored Tootsie Roll Pop?

Sadly, what with Peev having a cast-iron skull, she hasn't found out yet.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Isn't Runaway Bunny the creepy stalker one?

You're thinking of I Love You Forever, where the mom drives over to her adult son's house to snuggle him in the middle of the night. It *is* creepy and yet I still can't read the book aloud to my kids without crying. It doesn't help that I first read it when my mother was dying, and now I can't escape the memory of that first reading.
