If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Right on! Yay for procrastination, because I really meant to do that toothpaste thing last night.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I am insane. I seem to have trouble distinguishing between "can I pick it up?" and "can I carry it any distance?" In short, I have a new TV, but it may be hours before I have the strength back to put the old one down and the new one up.

I blame/credit George Pelecanos for the fact that I will never buy anything those salesmen want me to buy. So I don't have HDTV cables or some shit, but then, I don't have an HDTV cable box, either. I'll deal with that the next time I feel like dealing with the cable company.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude, I may have to dump my metric buttload of tarnished silver jewelry into the chemistry soup above.

I have to go to krav now. One of the senior instructors returned and they gave him one of my classes. I managed to wheedle him into taking the one I like the least, but now I have to assist him. Picture me assisting an ex-mentor. I can think of nothing else but his high standards for me and how I failed the black belt test.

I do not expect to enjoy the next hour, but I will still leave myself open to not hating it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Jesse, if you go to the TW store with your old box, they'll give you an HD box with all the cables you'll need.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I tried the aluminum foil/baking soda cleaning method, and it didn't work at all. All I got was what was probably toxic aluminum smoke. I'll probably get Alzheimer's now. It didn't noticeably clean the silver. Did I do it wrong?

Zen, if you want to come to Brooklyn and pick it up, it's yours.

ooo! Tom, how big is it? Physical dimensions, I mean.

Oh, good. That was pretty much what I figured, but I figured worst case scenario, I'd have to go back to PC Richard.

brillig

Well, it looks like Dean decided he prefers the senoritas and the tequila. I'm very sorry, Mexico, but we don't need the stress at work just now. Mother Nature, if you want to send a few Cat 2s or milder towards Carolina or something, I promise to buck up and do the job.

Dag! Even if I could have gotten that up the stairs, I'm pretty sure I would have needed to buy a new TV stand.
