I'm now watching some stupid NASCAR-for-the-unfan and thinking they need to shut up and let me watch them drive.

But I learned stuff! Like, I had no idea Juan Pablo Montoya got booed before races.

Happy borthday to DebetEsse! (Heh, I like that typo.)

So, remember the new job I thought I had last week? Yeah, not so much. I am told it was no reflection on me at all, that I did an excellent job in the interview, but they have decided not to fill the position because Big!Boss wants to take a step back and have an overall look at the arrangement of everything under his purview. The HR person will be meeting with me later to grovel and offer me concessions for being screwed over like this.

Idiot motherfucker (meaning Big!Boss). He couldn't have thought about this four months ago before the job was posted? I m pissed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, DebetEsse!

flea, I am pissed on your behalf. What a dick.

Or "cockbite", my new favorite word.

I stayed home from work today, mostly on a whim. I'm thinking of driving down to south Jersey and checking out neighborhoods. Suddenly I'm excited over the thought of housebuying, instead of terrified. That's a good sign, right? Or does it just mean I'm crazy?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dear lord, flea. Cockbite is right.

hip deep in pie

OMG Flea, that's horrible.

ION, I am getting spam from someone named KingJuicy Velour.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

WTF, flea! How annoying and yet oddly not unexpected from a University, because lo, they are weird. My boss has been trying to get me a grade bump for 3 months, and it would have been easier to post a NEW job, hire me, and then eliminate my old one!

Trust my rage

flea, that's really sucky. (I'm using that word as much as possible since I got yelled at for using it at work a few weeks ago.) This hiring process has been going on forever and it just now occurred to him?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, DebetEsse!

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

Happy Birthday to the very hott DebetEsse!

Sophia, this is a little late, but I'm so sorry to hear about your former student.

I'm excited there will be Buffistas at FSF! Juliana, maybe Vortex and Aimee, and Steph would like to go and should. I'd like to see the Buffistas who *won't* be there, too. I will take this to F2F and/or get on the SF list (making the wild assumption there is one).

Smooches to Sophia, Kathy A, Matt, and others who shouted out after I had to get back to work!

I'm slowly catching up in Bureaucracy. I want to comment on what's happening, but want to get a better feel for the issues. I've gotten some perspective after being away for so long. I'm sorry I missed the survey; I was amazed and pleased at lurker response. Cool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oy vey, flea. That is totally sucky.
