Emaill stress slowing workers down.
It might be my job, but the idea of only checking my email every fifteen minutes means I'd not get much done. And if everything urgent came over the phone I'd probably stop answering it, or at least start panicking when it went off.
Hell, I have a dual monitor setup and most of the left monitor is Outlook. Plus I have the transparent alert that pops up with the sender and first little bit of the message just in case.
I have a Blackberry for work, so it's definite that I'm supposed to be reachable. We don't get dinged for answering emails in meetings as long as we're not disturbing the discussion or missing huge bits.
I need to get a friend to let me feed her daughter lemons NOW.
Cute boy, Jessica.
Cute baby with a wonderful smile!
Wow - Dylan is a serious cutiehead! Happy 2 months!
Jess, he's adorable. Congrats on having a two-month old!
I agree that the response is short, sweet and adequate.
I've also read the haterz and seem distrubed that this guy's flist seem to be judging the entire book just based on his posted review. Oh, well, their loss. (I suspect some of them were bronze haterz in general, though).

OK, my tutee needs to get home soon or she's gonna miss her opportunity for tutoring tonight. She can be really loosey-goosey with times (even when I am explicit with her as I was last night,) but tomorrow is going to be a bit early and stressful for me and I need the time tonight, even if it is just to read over stuff and start screaming.
Finished reading the article, bon.
I have never felt more single than I do right now, is the most I can say.
