ICompletelyON, eep! Recruiter interview today, job interview (with a different recruiter) on Friday.
It's not as good as (and rather more stressful than) good Thai, but it is most definitely good.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

In random news, I bought this skirt over the weekend. It's not actually flattering (kind of "My hips. Let me show you them."), and I think the colors might actually be ugly (it's mostly purple and brown), and yet? I love it. LOVE.
At any rate, the point is that [she] presents herself as a rather unpleasant person, and generally speaking I prefer not to spend time with such people...
Good luck with that, Mr. Heaton. He appears to have sailed right by the point.

So if I was at Stanford Medical center about a half hour ago (To get a library card, not for anything medical), and saw a woman dressed in a very frilly white blouse and a very neon blue full length taffeta skirt rolling a harp down the street, do I win a prize for weird Monday sighting?
'Cuz I did.
Good luck with the interviewing, JZ.
Today is all sorts of weird in my inbox t /vague
Also, annual checkup+vaccs+ 10 days of boarding for a diabetic cat costs as much as my plane ticket did. Hmph. Good thing he's cute and I'm solvent.
waves pompons for JZ's interviews
That's an... interesting review, paperdol. He is definitely not my beautiful cake, since he can't seem to look below the first layer of the surface. Hrm.
Irish Draught Horse being used as a vaulting lesson horse!
Ooooh, pretty. Riding my bike has made me miss riding horses.

AWESOME.
Lee, you're definitely in the running. But, sadly, Monday is far from over.
LJ guy thinks paperdol is not only unpleasant but uninteresting. I gotta say, looking over his last 20 LJ entries, he's clearly intelligent and well-read but not particularly setting the world on fire with his scintillating fascinating shine-on-you-crazy-diamond self. Unless he's got something really juicy hidden behind his flock, I must admit him to be a singularly well qualified judge of uninteresting writing.
Aw. He likes Bob Mould, so he's okay in my book.
And someone has to think I'm boring and uninteresting.
I love you guys for smiting my imaginary enemies.
So, I was idly looking at career postings in California, and saw an interesting one. Post said 'priority consideration to applications before July 15'. But, the posting was still up and there was an email address right there. So, on a whim, I sent an email saying "hey is this job still open? here's a resume" and they replied yes and that my resume would be given priority consideration. UC-Davis Law. Huh.
