Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wasn't judging you, you know. Just talking about my experience.

Right, me too.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

When I had a studio, I had a murphy bed. Once I got up, I would fold it back up and there would be no bed. Certainly stopped the lounging during the day, but it was worth it, since it made it feel like a real living room when I came home from work.

Brenda--great place! I love the beautiful light you get from those many window. I also think the pass-through from the kitchen is a terrific detail. Also, cool wood floors. You done good!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I always loved having cats on the bed back when I had them. It's a different proposition with a hundred-pound-dog, though. She hasn't been a bed dog since she was very young.

Best part of the new place, besides the deck? [link] Inside that pillar that Katy (friend and agent) is leaning on? Brand new front load washer/dryer. And those wires sticking out of the wall? Surround sound.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Brenda, I love the great big deck, and the built-ins in the living room, and the marble kitchen counter/bar, and the way the toilet is tucked around the corner from the bathtub, and....well, pretty much all of it!

Dishwasher too. But damn, I've never had a w/d in any place I've lived (as an adult). And having it right there means I can basically use it as a hamper (my brother's brill suggestion), and for the first time in my life actually have clean clothes on a regular basis. Whoo-hoo!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am jealous too!

Jesse, are you cleaning? I'm not cleaning, really, outside of doing laundry. I need to fix that.
