We never had kids, so they're our kids...
Perzactly how we feel about our animals. Love them so very much.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Kristin T, I just don't get people who don't feel that dogs, cats, and other companion animals are part of the family. Yay us!
Bobbi, feel free to just call me Kristin. I only added the "T" to distinguish myself from Kristen, one of the original Buffistas (aka THE Kristen), but I've been around long enough now that most people drop the T now. (I've been on the board three-and-a-half years, but that's pretty new in this group!)
Okey, dokey, Kristin. Thanks. Besides, you have two Is and she doesn't. Which I noticed, but being new here, I tend to call people by their stated names.
This is one of the few places on the Internet that I'm Bobbi and not NurseBobbi. Sadly, using my profession in my logon ID sometimes brings out the pervs. Or makes them think I'm one. The nursing profession really needs some better representation in mass media.

Oh poor thing! Yes, my aunt spent 37 years as a hospital nurse before retiring last year, and one of my cousins has been a nurse for almost 20 years. We also have several nurse types on this board. I have tremendous respect for nurses--you work way too hard for way too little--and I agree that the media representation is pathetic. No worries about being harassed by pervs here, though.
Well, wait. Some us are pervs, but we wouldn't harass you just for being a nurse. Come to a F2F and you'll understand.

Naw, we'll just harass you for being, you know, human.
Pretty puppies!!
Bobbi - your pack is lovely and that pool is just perfect! How lucky that your dogs get to play in it.
Some of 'em wanna whip out their, uh, tongue depressors, eh? That's some *bull*shit. Some people's fantasies are so *lame*. I mean, I don't want want to be prudish or anything, because fantasies are deeply personal, but why does posting you're a nurse equal too-tight uniform, fishnets and heels.
I mean, I don't want want to be prudish or anything, because fantasies are deeply personal, but why does posting you're a nurse equal too-tight uniform, fishnets and heels.I think it has more to do with nurses having both authority and a presumed intimacy with your body. It's an entre into a power dynamic.
I don't think people with nurse fantasies are thinking about fishnets. They're thinking about invasive enemas. It's not about eroticizing the nurse, but the kink potential in their role.
Aw, doggies. This is my Lucy [link] with part of her menagerie.
