I don't much like either Draper or Campbell (as people -- they're great characters). They both suffer from Nice Guy syndrome, and it's so well-written it makes me cringe. (Especially Campbell, because I am helpless before VK's woobification powers. On one level I want to smack the entitlement and self-righteousness right out of him, but then he makes that VK woobie face and I just want to wrap him in a blanket and make him some soup.)
[eta: And a public service announcement for our newbies -- anything plot-specific about a current season show needs to be whited out for the benefit of our international Buffistas. The quick-edit for spoiler font is

see, whitefont!
Oh. I got that, just didn't know if that was age appropriate. Been a LONG time since I hung out with the little little ones. A two year old likes to color? Man, I need to have a kid. But yeah, I've got crayons and washable markers, "fun pads," and butcher paper to cover the table with so they can color all over it if they want. Also, cute little Wedding themed paper placemats with games and coloring activities.
I'm sure they do. Don't they? I don't know.
The little ones always seem to be excited by the bubble-blowing bottles they've started giving away at weddings.
I'm catching up on Mad Men. I swear, I can feel myself getting lung cancer just watching this show.
Heh. I really have to make an effort not to chainsmoke while watching it. I really hate movies where everyone's smoking, because I can't!
It's actually kind of the same effect as the anti-smoking ads on TV -- they all just remind me about cigarettes and how maybe I want one right now.

Oh, yeah! These have saved us at more than one wedding. You can never go wrong with bubbles.

Yup. It's the eyes, damn him.
As for the kid, Glenn: the hair thing creeped me right out. But not as much as his looming in the bathroom. I also like how they segued from there to Mrs. Draper lying on her analyst's sofa. I wonder if he's Freudian or Yungian. Veddy interesting. The characters are all so well layered that I'm very ambivalent about all of them.
Everyone gets bubbles. I like bubbles too. :)
Screw the wedding, just have a bubble party!!
So the little ones get stuffed animals or beanie babies, sippy cups that you can color, bride and groom rubber duckies, and tons of assorted coloring options. Best I can do.
Hee. I like Tom's idea. I am so OVER this wedding thing. Would much rather blow bubbles.
