Why is it a terrible idea?
I would imagine ita meant it from the hospital's point of view. Internet in hospital = Instant Public Hospital Complaints (tm). Just add bandwidth!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Or at least for hotels with a good pool system, like Mandalay Bay. I'd rather stay at MB then at Winn or Bellagio.
Exactly this.
argh! typing and grammar error! I mean THAN not THEN. Brain goes faster than fingers. der.
So in addition to my easy stressfree life? Tomorrow the exterminators are coming to spray at our house. They've asked that we remove everything from kitchen cabinets (not a problem), but ALSO from closets. Seriously? i have a 4 month old baby? And you want me to move everything.
GR.
erikaj, tell that nasty voice to shut the hell up. You're pretty damn cool. You kick its whispery little ass.
My downfall and I think a lot of other peoples' too is being caught up in thinking we need much more more than we do or that we really should have stuff just because we want it. I need basically no more clothes for like 3 years. I did NOT need the new furniture I just bought - cause what I have is fine and not even stained or torn, it is just old and not great in my space.
One way to tell you're being too hard on yourself is asking "Would I say something that nasty about another person in that same situation?" We really can be much more hard on ourselves with much less excuse, sometimes.
erika, I'm seconding zenkitty.
My downfall is buying ever more books, and wishful clothes in a size that will fit in 20 pounds and a miracle. Oh, and shoes. So, multiple downfalls.
That's precisely it, MM. Of course, once they actually give me painkillers and I fail to stop typing...then it'll be bad for a much more personal reason.
When I woke up early this morning and was waiting for my nurse to finish being treated, I decided to answer work emails.
Luckily I realised that I was too fucked up to do that. I could tell I'd made spelling errors, but nothing I could do would make the words look right.
I did end up a touch more coherent in the next hour (nurse had to give a report to the police, etc) but even then I ended up resending emails I'd already sent last week.
And I'm scheduled to have a con call in an hour.
Will the painkillers have been administered by then? I certainly hope so, but then again, not.
My downfall is eating out. I am lazy like that.
