'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Did it belong to Hitler?

It's a little known fact that Hitler had a vacation house in Brenton Woods and would take regular Zeppelin trips to Lakewood nearby.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad you chose hospital, ita.

I slept for over 6 hours last night. In a row even!

hip deep in pie

I slept for over 6 hours last night. In a row even!

Lucky! I was lying in bed last night trying hard not to cough for the longest time, sort of in semi-sleep. Then suddenly everything went dark and quiet, like the blackout at the end of a TV show, and my brain thought, "Hey, we're asleep!" And then I wasn't anymore.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hope the migraine goes away soon, ita.

I was foiled in my search for sushi by the place I wanted to try out being closed by 9pm, and my regular haunt (which I'd have had to order takeout from as it closes at 9:30) being blocked by a stream of shuffling guys in backwards-turned baseball caps. After circling the building twice I decided that it would be better to go home and fix a sandwich than to mow down an unobservant frat boy and count on my order being ready before the police arrived.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dino died.

(Dino is one of our servers. We have a Flintstones theme to our network.)

So anyway, I might be rather busy for a while. Or not. We'll see.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I was busy reading this article [link] about millionaires in silicon valley who feel poor. It pulls at the heartstrings to read about their poor millionaire lives.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

But it's not about how they feel poor, rather that they never feel wealthy enough. That's probably true of everyone here, even though we are rich compared to lots of people.
