Hey, my power animal is the Naked Mole Rat! Sweet!
That's not fair! I got giant octopus but wanted naked mole rat, or, if possible, the three toed sloth.
My morning has been filled with the usual excitement punctuate by Olivia's first dog bite. Not serious--a nip on the fingertips over some graham crackers. Sam has been chastised severely and will spend the morning outside and the afternoon in the laundry room.

ION, this morning I stepped off the nice air-conditioned bus and my glasses started to fog up from all the heat and humidity.
I actually thought that it was slightly less humid because when I was getting dressed, the effort of putting on clothing did not make me sweat. However, when I walked into my office I couldn't believe the amount of condensation on my windows.

I got about 3 hours of sleep last night, and in theory, I am supposed to be at work an extra two hours today. I wonder if that's really going to happen.

Also, I have been informed in a roundabout fashion that I am going to be offered the new job I applied for. Not to see how much $ they offer and whether to dicker with them about it.
