Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(There is some discussion of Masters of Science Fiction in Boxed Set.)

Damn, I forgot to set the Tivo for that.

IOTVN, I've been watching L&O marathons, and it occurs to me that Hudson University must be the most dangerous campus in America. I'm beginning to think it's not a real school, but a massive sociological experiment of dysfunction.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously -- whatever you do, don't send your kids to Hudson U!

I've been mainlining season 1 of Big Love on dvd today. Man, the things you miss not having pay channels. Good show.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Is Hudson U the one that's shot at Columbia or the one that's shot at NYU? I remembering noticing that they had a fake-Columbia school and a fake-NYU school, in addition to occasionally mentioning the real ones.

I don't think they shoot Hudson consistently at any one place, but it definitely has more of a Columbia feel to it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hudson U probably has a higher death rate than that little Maine town that Jessica Fletcher used to live in.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hudson U probably has a higher death rate than that little Maine town that Jessica Fletcher used to live in.

But probably not higher than Sunnydale.

OK, so I just discovered how my perspective on the world is maybe a little bit skewed. My mother was telling me that she was telling a coworker about Vampire People, because the coworker is a HUGE Firefly fan, with posters and stuff in her office, and my immediate reaction was, "How could she be a Firefly fan and never have heard of Allyson???" Oh, right. Because some people just like things and don't go online to talk about them. Weird.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The cat came back / He couldn't stay away / He was sitting on the porch / The very next day.

I am earwormed.

Poledancing achieved. That was FUN. I could totally sign up for a course...
