We're members of both the Huntington and Descanso. Love them both muchly. They're about the same distance from us, though Descanso is a little bit closer. I'm looking forward to the weather cooling down a bit so I can spend more time in them during the day.

Whoo. Caught up. Couple things...
The cops don't know for sure that Ving Rhames' dogs killed the guy. They know he was dead when they got there and that he appeared to have been mauled but he had been one of the dogs' caretakers so I'm hoping there's more to the story than we have yet heard.

Nerds! I am standing in line to see Bourne. The first two theatres I walked to today were sold out hours in advance. Keep in mind we are in the middle of a heat wave. So I went home and purchased tix for a later showing in a far part of town unlikely to sell out (battery park). Of course, when I get here to pick up my prepaid tickets, the a/c is broken. Nerds!

Yes, not working. (Though they woke me up at 5:02 am to see if I would.) Just finishing watching Hot Fuzz, which was oh, so funny. Tomorrow, we go find homes for Labrador retrievers in need. And watch Hot Fuzz extras.
