Huh. I've used Frontline with no problems. Any chance the dog got wet in the first day or so?

The dog hates water, except to drink. No, no chance.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We used Frontline a couple years ago, and saw no fleas from that moment on.

The fleas have to bite the dog in order to die, though, so it may take a couple cycles of the eggs in the rug, et cetera, hatching in order to get to the dog to bite.

You also have to Frontline your cats at the same time, IIRC.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And I got my copy yesterday at Porter Square Books, thus Supporting Local Bookstores also.

OK, now I really need to know who bought the ones they had already sold out of when my parents went a couple of weeks ago.

They special-ordered it for me, Jesse. They had a number of copies in the reserved books section (easy to pick out because of the spine color!) I'm betting they bought some more copies for the shelves, though.

I'm trying to keep a stiff upper lip about the medical insurance situation. Aside from needing a refill of one prescription, which isn't ultra-expensive, I don't have any outstanding conditions which require me to see a doctor this month, and I have no more chance of coming down with something dire than I ever did.

I'm sure going to look both ways before crossing streets and so on. This would be a bad month to take up sky diving....

Now tagless for your comfort.

MM, we use Frontline on our dog and cat. I react badly to flea bites so I have to make sure our pets don't get them.

Wow Corwood, congrats on the new baby and the good catch!

Will Geneva's nickname be "Fastball"?

anybody know why a McAfee update would make the internet stop working on my laptop? i know that's what it is because i've had to do a system restore twice after McAfee decided to automatically update. i've now turned it off automatic updates, but it keeps bugging to do one. i thought it might be something to do with the firewall, but i messed around with it and it didn't seem to solve the problem.

i'd ask this in tech, but i know not everyone goes in there and this is bugging the crap out of me.
