Last week, I wore an outfit that involved a high-collared black Victorian-esque blouse, a pink & black striped full skirt (with petticoats), and a matching pink & black striped waist cincher. I got tons of compliments, and it felt completely work-appropriate to me. But I wouldn't wear a waist cincher to work with a blouse that wasn't high-collared. To me, that crosses my boundaries of work-appropriate.

Due to enhancement of boobies by the cincher?
Eeeee! Bat with binky! Aaawwww! Man, I bet Pete would kill me if I wanted to become a foster parent to wee bats.
Now, I wear flip flops around the house. The problem with people wearing them at work? SHMECK SHMECK SHMECK SHMECK
I really do not care to be audibly apprised of your sweaty feet.
I need to stop tinkering.

Yep. And I wouldn't wear a PVC cincher to work because of the more obvious fetish-y connotations of that fabric.
But, once fall/winter hits, I'll dress more professionally.
Ah, fall, when one can stop dressing for survival and start dressing for pleasure.
I hate wearing a bra and don't on the weekends, but I would not feel comfortable going braless at work. Nips are NOT work appropriate, IMO.

That outfit sounds cute Tep!
Schools are funny, in terms of dress code. I typically wear "business casual" outfits, though I can get away with more than most offices. OTOH, I *never* but *never* wear anything too short, too tight, or too revealing. Capris with sandals and a nice top, yes. Cleavage? No.
