okay, I'm applying for a job online. You have to attach your documents. They have a spot for curriculum vita[sic] AND resume. Am I supposed to upload both? or the same document twice? I mean, is there a meaningful difference?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

They may not remember, ita, since the untoasted state is anathema to true bageldom. And putting butter on it is adding insult to injury.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

They may not remember, ita, since the untoasted state is anathema to true bageldom. And putting butter on it is adding insult to injury.

Not to mention that they're about three thousand miles away from any actual bagels.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want chewy bread with just a hint of butter on it. They? Slather butter on with the same zeal as they do cream cheese.

Good bread (which includes bagels) is enjoyable virgin--untoasted and uncovered. I want the butter so I can have a hint of salt (that is the scale of my salt craving) and a bit of fat to tell my stomach it's actually had food.

Every day, same battle.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I want a salt bagel. Toasted with cream cheese.

Because books.

Now I want a bagel. And even in upstate New York it's hard to find a true one.

Toasted with butter, please. And not too much.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I had homemade butter made by some Amish ladies at a farmers market the other day. OMG so good, but I couldn't really justify buying a two-pound blob of the stuff, which is how they were selling it.
