This is fucking insane. Man. After Rasmussen had pretty much sealed the victory.
Okay, for the team to actually *kick him off* before the end of the tour signifies that they believe he's been doping, right? Or that the scandal over his missing the tests won't go away.
I think the latter. Because he lied about where he was on the day that he was supposed to be doing that blood test. He said he was in Mexico but really he was in Monaco. Or something.
So Contador's now the yellow jersey, and Leipheimer is third, with Cadel Evans in between.
Yes.
Apparently, Rasmussen had missed 4 drug tests by not being where he said he was. Or by not saying where he really was. Four doesn't sound like a mistake.
Four sounds like monumental idiocy. Unless it's a standard sort of thing-why is this only a deal now?
Mexico but really he was in Monaco
Really, that's just a few letters in the middle! And, depending on where you are in Mexico, it might be just like Monaco, only without any royalty.
(Or it might be slobbering drunken college students groping one another in bug-infested fleabag motels, but I am sure they have that in Monaco too. Except all the college students have to wear tuxedos.)
