Our wings are not tired.

I looked at the past couple year's electric bills and they have been going down steadily. I don't know how much of this is my efforts to control it and how much was price controls put on the electric company. The last 12 months I avg $280 a month, far better than the $302 a month avg for the previous 12 months. I promise I don't heat with electric, but I don't have another A/C choice.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You know how when you call someone and get the automated attendant, it might tell you to press the "pound" key? Well, my boss just had the automated thingie tell him to press the "number" key.

So is the pound sign ("#") something people are less familiar with these days?

Art Crawl!!!

Laura, here in IL they just released the restrictions on the electric bill (but are thinking of putting some back -- one of the reasons we have NO BUDGET here yet.)

I always knew that # as the number sign until the increase in automated systems where I've always heard it called the pound key.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Dudes! My sister just told me she plans to move to NY in April/May of next year! This is the actress one so I'm uber excited for her.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I deal with people in the UK all the time at work. I have to be careful to call "#" a "hash mark".

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Octothorpe!

hip deep in pie

Happy Anniversary Sheryl and DH.

I have to be careful to call "#" a "hash mark".

I had forgotten about that name. I used to called them that before my brain was taken over by automated phone systems.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I hear "hash mark" and immediately think "marching band".

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I hear "hash mark" and immediately think "marching band".

That's what I thought to, but I forget why. And then I thought I was craxy until you just posted.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I was just on amazon's top 100 for nonfiction, #97.

But now am gone.

No, seriously, I swear.

My hands went numb so I couldnt screencap it.
