Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tomorrow we head to St. Louis for Tuckercon/Archcon/NASFic. (North American Science Fiction Convention, which is what you get when WorldCon is not in North America)

No one wants my beautiful futon! It makes me sad.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I would take it, Emily, but I have no way of getting it from you to me.

Thrive to spite them

Mad Men - I'm enjoying it. I wonder if the gynecologist Peggy saw in the first episode has some kind of "Agreement" with the ad agency to make sure that their men are protected from any misfortunate accidents.

Occasionally there are things that will just give me the shivers, like when the ad guys were messing around with the Right Guard and pin the one guy on the desk. Another says something "Pretend this is prom night and your the girl."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey y'all. I kind of skimmed, but I now feel compelled to note that I used to hate cilantro, but now don't mind it. And I like Mad Men OK, but am not super crazy about it.

I went to Baltimore! And saw Buffistas! And sat through two days of an intense meeting! And my plane coming back just now got turned around on the tarmac because someone talked shit to the flight attendent, but they both ended up on the plane! And am now exhausted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tired seems to be en vogue, Jesse. You're fitting right in.

Askye--spoileriffic! I'm gonna whitefont for you.

I'm watching The Closer, which I do in spite of Kyra Sedgwick and her tics. Are her lips like that normally, or is she using facial muscles? It makes me tired to look.

On the needles, newp. Which I do understand, it's a safety issue. I just should've insisted on checking (which all the other places let me) before the transaction. So pissy at myself too.

Glad Jesse is safely home, if tired.

I hate hormones. I have certain painful zits that come on a monthly schedule. Same pore, everytime. Where I really don't want them.

And of course, this is really bad timing, with my upcoming trip. Foo.
