So your Mother has (nearly) half a dozen great grand children?

She could get to a great-great, couldn't she?

'scuse me for a moment.

I had a very vivid dream last night about my ex and his family and woke up in a cold sweat. so getting an email from myspace just now saying i had a message from him was majorly nerve inducing. it's been 10+ years. can someone please tell my inner teenager to let it go?

She's 65 and her oldest great-grandchild is 8 years old so, yeah, possibly.

At 75, following precident, she could hit great-great.

At 93 (which really isn't that far out nowadays) great-great-GREAT

Which would be so cool, really. Not worth hiding someone bc pills or anything...

it's impossible for me to NOT open it. really it was just a "thanks for sending my mom a card on the anniversary of dad's death" and a general "how's things". however, hot on the heels of my dream and the fact that he was my OTL makes me kinda stupid. it's also a bit weird that he's choosing to message me now. see, he and his wife(yes, wife) had a joint myspace account(LAME!) until about 3 days ago. or maybe i am reading too much into it...

While it would be cool, it's not likely. Mom's a severe diabetic who doesn't take good care of herself or regulate her blood sugar. HER mother died at 74 of cardiac arrest brought on by severe diabetes (after losing her leg to the disease).

But on the other hand, her father died just shy of 90 years old, with a full head of hair and with his fourth great-great grandchild on the way.

To make it a bit unfair, my grandfather smoked non-filtered cigarettes, worked in the coal mines from age 12, drank his own moonshine, was a severe alcoholic and a compulsive gambler, while his wife was a teetotaller.
