From some of the video from Chicago this past weekend, Jensen said Kripke had pretty much accepted that this year was the show's last; it would complete the syndication package (which used to be the magic 100 eps, but they may have lowered it to 88, IDK), so Krip planned to go balls to the wall and throw everything up by the end of this season, resolve everything, one way or another.
The figures for the season premiere went "through the roof", which is a good thing, right? Jensen said Kripke's reaction when he heard was: (head falling dramatically to chest, full-body slump) "KRAP!"
He did go on to say that they will probably layer in some "story" episodes and back the big finish off till S5.
And, to that reviewer, I'm sure someone you know has dvds. Check it out--never too late, you know.
Man, what happened to my post?
I had a post with many links to con reports but here is a link to a post by Anya with pictures from the con. Note the picture of her and Barcey with Malik, Sam and Chad. Barcey is my friend S.
Chicago Con wiki page chockful of linky goodness.
This amusing picturea of Misha was linked to over on TWOP. I have NO IDEA what this is from.
oh dear ... although I do like the pink ribbon around his neck
Good to know he can play pretty, pretty princesses if the holy tax accountant gig doesn't work out for long.
The recap is up. There's a shout out to one of you, somewhere in there.
Cindy - did you hear that the boys were told about the Hand of Ipecac?
Of course, they didn't know what Ipecac was. (Now they do. It will be interesting to see if the phrase gets back to the writers.)
I'm sure you didn't intend it, Cindy, but I snickered at the W-A-N-G Angel Radio.
t /is twelve, forever
I assumed that was intentional.
