Translation, please: PotC 2? My brain keeps saying "People of the Corn 2," and I'm just not remembering any movies by that name.
Supernatural 1: Saving People, Hunting Things - the Family Business
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Ah ha! I think I had a moment of clarity -- "Pirates of the Carribean," yes? And yes, it was a dreadful movie.
Which was also, basically, rape, and called out as such by many fans. Didn't stop them from watching the show, but many people never got over their disgust with Owen for that.
I'm in this camp. Although I find the show's blasé use of Retcon as objectionable (perhaps moreso WRT Gwen using it on Rhys to negate a reaction she didn't like rather than the usual impersonal use in the name of security). I do, however, give Torchwood credit for finally buying a clue and depicting the violation of people's memories as reprehensible in "Adam."
4.09 promo - longer than the one that followed the show.
Preview scene from 4.09 (director's cut) and a second preview scene from 4.09.

LOVE. Misha does the voice over. SQUEE.
Cindy's recaplet just reminded me: was the foot-long sub that Dean ordered a shout out to 10-inch Hero?
Ahhh. Could have been. I haven't seen it and know almost nothing about it. (eta: the movie, not Cindy's recap) Did the delivery guy come in and ask who ordered the sandwich or hero? How awesome would it have been if he said, "who ordered the hero" and Dean raised his hand?
I do remember my mucho favoritest part. When Sam pulls Dean aside so that Audrey can't hear and whispers, "Are we going to...should we...are we going to kill the Teddy Bear?" BWAH! JP's face and the way he delivers the line is priceless.
eta2: Two things that are distracting me this season: 1) Jensen keeps curling his lip when he's talking. Like Elvis. 2) The way Jensen is saying people's names when he wants to ask them a question. He did it with Mary and again with Audrey. It's weird. The inflection or something is off from how people normally say names. Is he mumbling it so the character will show Dean's shyness? JA what games are you playing with Jared's acting coach?
Dean is shy?
I think that the delivery guy said "the Italian" not the sandwich or Hero.
Shy isn't the word or maybe it is. You know when he was talking to Mary, how he softened? The same thing happened with Audrey. It's like he's not just talking to a guy or some conquest, but a real person, and he speaks differently.
BTW, I am NOT the one who made a bid. :)
Open?
Tender?
Not fronting?
