This is my problem with not knowing what rules apply to which ... creatures, I guess. If the angels and God can know what much, what's stopping them from using their power to smite Azazel?
I think smiting Azazel wouldn't necessarily stop the end game, since it's still going on two years after Dean killed him.

I think I'm going to play Faith because it's on the same disc, but I may not make it all the way through the episode.

I'm not sure I was as disappointed as you, Bev, but I really wasn't going to buy Season Three on DVD. I only broke down because of the Impala model. The dvds though, they are still in the plastic.
I am a completist, so I'll have to get Season Three. But only after they start doing some crazy discounting.
I watched the featurettes and the gag reel. I couldn't not.
S3 has a handful of really good episodes that I will, of course, rewatch. I love Dream a Little Dream, Mystery Spot, and A Very Supernatural Christmas as much as anything. I have a more mixed affection for JIB, and a sheepish adoration for Ghostfacers.
I'm watching Faith (it's on the same disc as Home--already in the player), and when Jensen is playing Dean as ill, his voice is higher, softer, his body language is looser, his facial expressions are not as scowly. He wasn't really far from CJ and Alec in S1.
I had most of the good ones still on the dvr, so I didn't watch them on dvd. But I will, at least the five you mention.
