Something I'm cribbing from my notes from the last watch, but the first victim/deal maker they see did it because he wanted a family cycle of violence stopped, and the second was going to make the deal to save her loved one.
And now I'm back to, mmm, Mitch. You sexy bitch.
Ahem.
Huh. I never thought about it before, but Charlie's situation is so, so similar to Max's in "Nightmare," with wanting the beatings to stop.
The Lord is funny that way. ahahahaha
Bev, for me, Dean's explaining the YED to Samuel and Deanna.
Random crazy talk, inspired by Plei's comment about making deals: "In the beginning" always has a Genesis ring to me. Which is where Eve sort of accidentally makes a deal. Not for the man she loves, necessarily, but with its own set of unforeseen consequences.
Also, I loved Deanna so hard in this.
The body language is like watching a mirror. I wonder if Mitch gave a look at some film of Jensen's Dean. Just for reference.
(pausing for a bit, until more in synch)
Right now I'm at Mary looking at albums. And Dean's about to talk to her.
Oh, Dean. You really want to give your mom a hug right now, but you can't. And man, that makes me so sad. And Mary, with her apple-cheeked smile of sheer glee, and that sudden shift to just sad and okay just stomp on my heart RIGHT NOW, Show.
And now Dean and Mary. And more ducking of anvils.
