yeah, I definitely got the feeling Missouri actually cares about Dean more than she does Sam.
IIRC, in grey canon (the journal screencaps), he had the boys with him on visits to Missouri, and Dean actually talked to her, back when he wasn't talking to anyone yet.
Mmm. Busting down doors and Sam getting tossed into walls. LOVE.
Why did Sam stop-- was there something that stopped him from going outside, or are we supposed to think he knew Mary already?
Holy SHIT. I forgot about Sam flying across the kitchen.
Dean, wouldn't it be easier to go through a window?
Have you noticed there's very little Texas in their speech? That didn't start creeping into the Winchesters' speech until S2, I think.
Wow, Sam's strong. I realized they are little kids, but still one in each arm and running.
Something stopped him, so he set the kids down before he got grabbed.

Didn't Missouri say she had met them? Dean was a funny looking kid etc.
I am going to have to replay this Mary scene a lot, I think.
Okay, this is the scene that really works well if you assume that Dean has always gone back to 1973. It's the way she looks at him and says his name, not so much like greeting her kid, but like greeting an old friend.
One last hunt, Mary. One last hunt.
