"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

My only tiny quibble with JP is the ... nose quiver, I guess you'd call it? ... when he's being fierce and restraining himself, or draining/exorcising the demon. But otherwise, he's dead on.

This bothered me too, but that is what made me think of how far they have come. JA is still at a higher level and even seems to be improving. But Jared is doing such good work. Really really good work.

I'm feeling some heavy, heavy parallels between now and S2. Like, Sam's bit after they stop the car reminded me of the bit by the water, with the fence and the beers, where they talk about how he might go darkside.

I don't know what else I feel about it yet, just had to observe.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Does Dean know that Sam spent 4 months (or however long) alone during the events of Mystery Spot? Because tonight Sam answered Dean that he had been alone and had to continue fighting (or words to that effect, I'm paraphrasing), and it occurred to me that of course it wasn't just for the 4 months that Dean was in Hell, but added to the 4 months Dean was dead before, in addition to all the days Dean kept dying, you can certainly see why Sam is willing to use any methods at his disposal to save people and hunt things. And you can also see why he's maybe used to keeping things to himself.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

What do we think about the demon's taunting of Sam at the beginning, when he makes it sound like Sam and Ruby have been making the beast with two backs? Demons lie, sure, but I didn't get the impression that anyone knew Dean was lurking out there. I don't think we're supposed to assume Dean overheard. Have Sam and Ruby really been sleeping together? Because, well, EW.

I still don't think they have, Jen, but that could be just because I don't want to think that.

Hee. See, you know they're bringing the pain when I feel so heartbroken for them that I seriously only want to feed 'em and give them some much needed and well-deserved rest.

I wonder if this is a phenomenon singular to Show, that fans want to feed the boys and wrap them in blankets. Is there a faction of that in fan fic? No sex, just lots of pie.

eta: I'm going to go watch the happy parts of WIAWNSB. Mary feeding Dean. Dean loving the family together.

Oh show. :sniff:

I still don't think that Sam and Ruby are sleeping together. I... don't know all my reasons, but I just don't think so. I'm wondering if they're just phrasing it in a double-entendre way to confuse the audience.

I think we call them "woobies".

Because books.

Maybe the demon world just assumes, like everyone? I mean, they're obviously some sort of weird team, and maybe Ruby has her ... appetites like everyone. Demon. Whatever. Katie Cassidy certainly played up Ruby's attraction to Sam.

That's what I thought. It was just meant to provoke a reaction/piss Sam off.
