Aaannnnd, we're back in The World of Ew.
SO much ewww. And, really, poor Travis. He was trying to do the right thing, as he saw it.
Okay, I'm going "oh, ooh, ow, oh" too damn much.
Is it wrong that I was rooting for Jack?
Now the boys don't have the whole story which will make Sam feel worse, and Dean feel more justified in his view.
Yikes, I jumped.
Randomly, the pictures of the blood pumping through veins is reminding me of TV's The Hulk. Ah, Bill Bixby.
Travis really reminded me of Dean, operating on his experience, unhappy and remorseful at some of the decisions he had to make, but doing the job because he was saving civilians. I know both brothers have expressed regret over killing things they found out later could have been saved.
I know it wouldn't have been as effective dramatically, but -- I would have been more sympathetic towards Travis if he had knocked them unconscious first. Did the lore say the victims had to be alert while they were burned alive? Particulary the pregnant wife.
This has to be one of the first times I've actually been grateful for commercials.
Sam can't kick the door open?
