So, will Dean be an agent of heaven and Sam an agent of Hell?
Supernatural 1: Saving People, Hunting Things - the Family Business
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Man, I'm kind of really not hoping for a "Sam goes darkside" plotline. Just... no. And I don't know why.
That's one hot angel. Yum.
If this really is an angel, and I do suspect that Bev is right, then I'm glad they went with old school fire and brimstone rather than shimmering wings and fluffy-bunny-cakes.
Whoa.
But I really really liked the psychic! She was refreshing. Boo!
The slaps I didn't care for, if only because of the cheestastic sound effects that went along with them.
That hot angel is hot, and creepy. I thought he was played by Jamie Bamber at first, but way hotter. And more presence.
So, Dean just plugged the dude who "volunteered" to be the supposed angels vessel, and is now dead? Sucks for that guy, guess the angel will just have to keep the body. Darn.
I thought he was played by Jamie Bamber at first, but way hotter.
Can we request this for the next vessel, in case something unfortunate happens to this one?

I second.
Kathy/Christie is Ruby? I have to rewatch.
At the end of the show, I made inhuman glee noises and scared the children.
I LOVE THIS DIRECTION. Dude, an ANGEL. (A hot angel, to boot.)
And honestly, I don't mind the idea of a Dean/Sam showdown. That could be intense. Although I still believe Sam *thinks* he's doing right/good.
Eeeeeeeenext week next week next weeeeeeeek!!!
Now. There has been much speculation in both meta and fic that Dean is some sort of angel sent to protect Sam. The fact that Dean refused to believe in Angels, or in any good thing, and that Sam wanted so badly to believe in angels, and in God, and that he could be saved, is incredibly Kripked thinking, for this turn of things.
That Sam is using evil to do good...is going to be seen as a good thing? or a bad thing, by a Dean charged by God to Do Good. And the angel of the lord who is harming people in His name? Is a good thing? Or a bad thing?
The "opposing sides" that I've been hearing rumbles about just became manifest. And the change in the brothers' relationship because of that.
Hoo boy. I think it's going to be a good season.
Also--I heard just today that SPN is not guaranteed a S5 --with an undertone that they're really not *expecting to get* a S5 :o(--and they are throwing everything into this season. It sort of makes me happy that they actually *don't* have a big budget to spend on FX--we're going to get the elemental battle at the human level, with the kind of small but chilling effects the SPN crew so excels at, and not a Lucasfilm "throw everything on the screen and dazzle the audience beyond the capacity for rational thought.
Them's my impressions and guesses. And now, Eeeeeee! Next weeknextweeknextWEEEEEEK!!!

I'm so happy about this! I'm in Amy's camp, finding this a yummy storyline. Nom,nom, nom.

This is the opposite of good. However, if I was basing it on last season, I hate to say it, but I would agree. However, I think we will have redemption this season. Already the first episode was hit out of the park.
I can't find an episode cast list anywhere. IMDB only had the girl demon listed.
