Also, someone at the BestBuy might want to watch their geek squad camera because one of the special edition sets on the rack advertising a metallicar included, did NOT have the car. The little plastic package add-on had been removed. I would be pissed if that was the last one and I bought it thinking the car must be tucked inside.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was painted. I expected a smaller pewter colored thing. And I really don't blame the company for making it 2-door. The show shoots it like a 2-door. They hardly ever (have they ever?) opened the back doors. The boys get in and coordinate their door closings from angles that look like a 2-door.

I can't believe they found a way to get me to buy the season three dvds. I had made up my mind I could live without this last season.

Well, the company probably already had a two door mold. I don't think anyone has ever made a 4 door model of that year, but 2 door is fairly easy to come by, though not so much in that scale.

I might need a spoiler intervention. i've been looking at promo pics and have spoiled myself for casting. tell me surprises are better and i need to stop.

Sort of like you can find the 2-door car for sale all over, but finding a 4-door in any sort of shape to restore is much harder. And of course, more expensive due to the rarity of the car and the body parts. Not...that I check periodically on ebay motors. Or anything.

Surprises are better, tiggy. It's been really hard for me, too, but we've made it this far, and now there's only another two weeks to go!

On page 7 of 9, the only four-door I've seen so far today. This one's not a trailer case, either, as most of them are.

Bev, I can't quite tell from the angle, but I think that may be the wrong kind of 4 door. Doesn't look like a hardtop.

The silhouette looks a little off to me, too, particularly the roofline in the back. But it was the *only* 4-door on offer today. The rest were SuperSports, two-doors, some convertible. Which, pretty, but not right.

You know, the wee'Pala is durn heavy. Particularly when it rolls off the desk and hits your bare toe. Owie.

tiggy, don't look! I had to unsub from spoilers and spoilers lite so that I'm not even tempted in my message center. And it helped that I've been away from LJ for a bit too. It will so be worth it. I'm not spoiled, I just have A LOT of hope.
