I contacted a friend over at WB and got the skinny formeyou. So, here’s the deal:
Exclusives for Supernatural S3 DVDs:
* Best Buy has a die-cast ’67 Chevy Impala inspired by Supernatural that is packaged with the DVD.
* Target has a full-color 2009 locker calendar featuring Jared and Jensen.
Both will be available on street date (9/2) at the respective retailers in limited quantities. All other retailers will have the regular DVD package.
Well, that sucks.

I never did get into that site. (I might try now.) My work computer has been acting strange and put upon so - I imagine that is why.
I did cancel my Amazon order. My Buddy S is going to travel BBs in the western 'burbs to find us both dvds with mini-Metallicars.
When I cancelled my order I gave as my reason, "because I want a mini-Metallicar."
I wonder how many people will cancel orders for that reason?
I think this wins my vote for the weirdest tie in so far.
OMG, I didn't look at the teaser, but just knowing it is there has me all excited for the new season.
I am totally going to Best Buy after work Tuesday for the mini-Metallicar. Wish they would have made it into a charm or keychain.
The tea is pretty weird.
