Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aha. ::makes note::

Because books.

Dean thinks with his downstairs brain a lot. He's very concerned with Sam getting enough action.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He's very concerned with Sam getting enough action.
Because this always turns out so well... Sexing Sam is kinda fatal.

Well, yeah.

I bet Sara from Provenance is happy they only made out.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Back to the Dean, Sam, Rose, and Maggie thing. The one parallel that jumps out at me is that you have a case of one sibling who is faced with another who--through circumstance--has become lethal or potentially lethal. We weren't privy to whatever reason Rose gave for keeping Maggie away, but it seems to me that while she loved Maggie (and vice versa), she knew that Maggie was a danger to others because of what Maggie had become.

I also noticed that both Rose and Dean gladly gave up their lives for their sibling's sake, even though by rights both Maggie and Sam should no longer exist.

(And with that, I kill the thread. My apologies.)

Well, you say things like this:
even though by rights both Maggie and Sam should no longer exist.
and my head kinda starts getting all twisted up and thinky...

I was thinking about it! But Cass is making me write porn, which is sort of distracting.
