"You wouldn't think it was romantic?" "I would think he was a serial killer."
...I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. But I am surprised. One would think that the inability to perceive a situation from a perspective other than one's own would be kind of a huge disqualifier for writing multi-character fiction! Hello!
Okay, Sandy McCoy is officially awesome, in my book.
The picture was taken at Eyecon in Florida this weekend, and stolen off my LJ friends list.
BWAH! That is perfect.
In other news, This story is a wonderful case file, with absolutely perfect dialogue.
What JA is doing on his summer vacation.
I know they only have a few weeks hiatus, but come on. There have to be some better options than a schlock 3-D horror movie.
I know. Was it last summer that he was in that play?
Yes, which was, you know, community theater. Professional, but local. SO much better for your rep, even if only a few hundred people see the performance. I don't get what this is about. Usually hiatus work is against the type you play in your series. This? I suppose could be classified as against good(ish) horror?

I completely get why Jared is in love. I'm a little in love myself.

*does the dance of joy remembering being one of the hundreds*
I've got a theory.
The play was really fun to watch. I didn't get the impression from JA interviews that he had that much fun actually doing it. Like it was a not bad experience but more like it was a challenge he set for himself and was able to accomplish. I'd be surprised if we saw much more than token theater in his future. The films, no matter how bad, provide revenue in a medium in which he is much more comfortable working.
Maybe he needs/wants some money. If you aren't going to become a big big star, it makes some sense to make as much money as you can when you are bankable and save it. Although, he may become the next Harrison Ford for all we know!
