now I like the episode better. I love that the trickster is so beyond twisted that Dean dying is a big practical joke. I'd hate him if it had been real, but I respect him for his level of bad taste.

I suppose the fact that the Trickster hasn't actually killed them means he still kind of likes the brothers Winchester, since in his last episode he did actually knock off some of his victims.
