Supernatural 1: Saving People, Hunting Things - the Family Business

I think it was the precise enunciation that was throwing off my ear.
Yep - I also think that since they're often filming SPN late at night w/crazy hours, JA's not got as much control over his voice as he does when he's at a con and a little more rested. Which is quite understandable.
And OMG with his hands and the touchy and wow. I really want to see him on stage now.
I think Edlund's nail polish would be better if it were chipped, but I'm sure he wanted to look his best for the con.

He probably lets the Texas (rhymes with "sexass") out to play for Dean as well.
He should get on the Rosenbaum train and do some VO work. Mmm.

Yes. Mmm.
goes to happy place
JA was on set 'til 2 am before flying down to the con.
The reason Jared missed his flight was that he was on set 'til 6 am and (understandably) slept through his alarm.
Thanks for the welcome. I have so enjoyed reading your posts about SPN.

Between Tom Welling pulling JA into the backseat of the Impala, the Sexas accent, and knowing the Impalas have names, my happy place is island hopping.
I missed the Impala names! Where'd you find that?
I did see one adorable clip where someone asked why Sam never got to drive last season. JA moved up on the mike, "Because it's MY CAR!" And Kripke said, yeah! Someone else asked what size engine they have in the Impalas, and Kripke said, "Is that an entendre?" No clue, man. JA rattled off a list of stuff they have on the stunt car, and Kripke VO'd, "Jensen is a man!" JA finished up by saying they have some "picture cars" that "run", "but none of them feel as good" as the stunt car.

smishes JA for his adorkable possessiveness
Okay, complete cliche, but JA knowing stuff about cars, and how the stunt car *feels* when he drives it? Not only adorkable, but HOT.

That story's a little sad to me, because the person who asked that was anteka (of Plastic!Winchester fame), and she's done some really stellar meta on the Impala as an extension of Dean's emotional state. She was hoping for some kind of commentary, and Kripke kinda hung her out to dry. She was very sad.
(Which, ok, maybe there isn't meta to Sam not driving during S2, but what she pointed out is an awful lot of coincidence, and if Kripke et al didn't do it on purpose they're some lucky bastards.)
I think they were crunched for time. Also, the dork from TV Guide, who was "moderator" for the panel, shut her down. JA clapped when she said PWT, like he'd at least heard of it, and Kripke was "Oh yeah? What's that?" It was the mod who, when she asked if she could get a pic with them and the plastiboys said, "No, you can't do that." His tone shut Kripke and JA (and everybody else, pretty much) down.
Although I don't doubt for a minute that EK may be oblivious to some meta about the car and Dean's state of mind.
Erm. I have the clip. Want it?
