Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Supernatural 1: Saving People, Hunting Things - the Family Business

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yep, "Drinking the Kool-Aid." She was Rain/Debbie, the missing girl.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, I liked that episode! Well, large parts of it.

Yeah, she was good in it.

I swear, by about the fifth viewing of Route 666, you don't even notice the slight wooden aspects. Honest.

Because books.

For real, though. I didn't mind her that much even on initial viewing. I didn't mind the character at all, even though I didn't love her -- I simply thought she was a little too ... perfect looking? caricatured? for Dean? Something.

I forgot she was on VM. There should be a Six Degrees of the CW game somewhere.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Oh, I liked that episode! Well, large parts of it

me too!! though that could be my immense love of the character Casey. fandom always makes me cry with their hate of Drinking the Kool-Aid.

can't stand Megan's acting, but don't get the hate-on for Cassie.

Hello again! Sorry for the slow response but I am not used to a forum where people talk this much. I am going to have to check this thread every day instead of once a week. Thanks for the welcome. And, to answer the question of how I heard about the site, it is actually through my research. I am a doctoral student at the University of Oregon studying film and cultural studies--which gives me a justification to study video games, Machinima, fanfic, TV and fandom. I grabbed Allyson Beatrice's book "Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby" (how can a Buffy fan resist a title like that?) and read it in about two days. I laughed my ass off, related and laughed some more and realized that this was a community I wanted to get to know. So, to make a long story probably longer, that is how I heard about the site.

In terms of Supernatural I admit that I have not seen the new episode (I know, a criminal offense) but my excuse is that we upgraded our cable to HD and had to trade in my old DVR with all of its programming and scheduled recordings for a new one with no recordings. For two weeks I have had to go through and manually find my shows that are not currently on the schedule and set them to record, fix priorities and all that jazz. For some reason, Supernatural was not on the list. I'll catch up on the website though. I do watch 4400 though and I agree Megan's acting is not so hot. Though I am jealous of Cassie's errr intimacy with Dean I honestly couldn't care less about her character. She didn't make much of an impression on me at all. I mean, Dean would be more likely to settle down with the Impala than an actual woman, IMO. =P

  • edit* So, it seems that the new episode is not until the 31st *whew* so I have not missed anything...please correct me if I am wrong.

Art Crawl!!!

You are not wrong. The next new episode is the 31st. This week we have a nice repeat of "Fresh Blood" and, I hope, a new and exciting promo for next week.

Hah! Another victim newbie for Allyson's count. Although I'm amused, given Allyson's relatively low opinion of acafanage. *grin*

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

For general consumption, and those who haven't already seen it, a Dean vid to The Sharpest Lives.
