It's not just about Cassie, it could be about any female character that is on the show the guys show interest in. The comments are extra gleeful abot the idea of a female character being drowned.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Oh, the real wankeriffic material is in her imperious responses to a post criticizing her taste/social skills: [link]
I would link to the comment, but, it's like five comments, all in a row, all very "oookay, babe, you keep talking while I call up the police on my other line" ragey.
I can hear fingers typing up the wank report even now.
Oh my God, wow, those comments are awesome. It's like, "Let me tell you EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER DONE in order to exonerate myself."
Yeah, she's not doing herself any favors here.
It's another instance of Vee's Second Law, the one about soylent green.
How does that one go?
"Unfortunately, fandom is full of stupid and insane people, because fandom is full of people." Aka, the Law of Soylent Green.
I guess I have to ask the dumb question, but I don't understand or remember, did the character do anything that was unlikeable?
It's just so bizarre. Why didn't they attack Lisa? Maybe because she was a one weekend kinda thing? Or Carmen? I would think she would be the most likely target for this weird behavior because she was his "dream" girl.
It's too bad because as a general rule, the women of Supernatural are kick ass. And do.
She broke up with Dean. That's apparently enough to be hateable.
I always thought the vitriol was because Dean *loved* her, instead of sleeping with her. That he would have stayed with her, if she hadn't broken up with him.
You know, making his *fictional character* unavailable. Or something.
There's probably an element of that, even if it's completely insane. There's no way in hell Dean would have stayed with her for long. We haven't met the woman who could get Dean to settle down.
