Sorry, got side tracked. I was kinda watching Croatoan and the Christmas Special. ::blush::
Where was this?
It was on the same TV Guide channel countdown that listed Sam as one of the memorable character deaths of 2007.
Dude who plays Mohinder is wicked pretty.
It was him. And I don't argue that he's sexy. Just on my list he is below Dean. In fact, my 1-3 sexiest sci fi male of 2007 alternate between JA, JP, and JDM. ((eta: Nope, now that I think about it #4 would be Ronan, followed by Capt. Jack, Hendricks, and then many crew members of Galactica and CKR of BSG. Wait, Stan/Yed would be in there too. I don't think Mohinder is in my top ten.))
Um.... awkward!
The way I wrote it, yes. But the way he said it was more like he was implying his mom had rigged the voting because she is the only one that could possibly think he was that awesome, NOT that he was thanking her for the pretty genes. Now I want to smish him again.
I took it that way because at a banquet in October, they called my son's name and some girls raised a little ruckus. The announcer making a joke said, "I think his mother is here." JA's comments seemed very similar.
Now that I have watched the Christmas eppy again, I agree with Bev that the "Don't ever talk about Mom" delivery was a direction mistake and not the child actor's fault. Anyone standing around there (besides the kids) should have been able to notice it needed to be dialed down from an eleven. He could have pulled it off nicely going a couple different ways. Maybe they were running late that day and had to go with that take. ??? He shows some good stuff in other scenes.

Hee. The character suffers from Too Stupid To Live syndrome, or did while I was still watching, but DAMN, that man is beautiful. (Objectively speaking, I think he's prettier than Ackles. If, you know, one were objective. Which I don't claim to be. I'd love to see the actor playing a part where he wasn't playing someone willfully idiotic. Then I might raise him to the top of a sexy man heap.)
Do we think we'll get a promo with this week's repeat? Or just one for next week's repeat?
Ok - was not able to do the watch and post with y'all, but reading through the posts was fantastic. I could picture the scenes that corresponded to your squeees. Someday, when I'm not broke, I have to buy the dvd's.
For those who are not on Teh LJ, this is what is in the window of the candy store around the corner from me: [link]
Futon Critic posted the CW's new midseason schedule and gave us this information:
Furthermore, "Reaper" will return to the schedule on Tuesday, January 15 at 8:00/7:00c before sliding to Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c on February 28. ("Supernatural" will have completed airing its first-run episodes by said date.)
So - ep 10 - Jan. 31st, ep 11 Feb 7 and ep 12 Feb 14?
That must be it, sumi.
That just gives me nineteen kinds of willies. I like Reaper, sure, but LEAVE MY SPN ALONE, KTHX.
I've always felt that Reaper is the show the CW wanted Supernatural to be. They really don't want SPN, or the demographic of fans who watch the show no matter how loyal they are. CW wants basically T&A and sophomoric humor, or cheap reality. Their bottom line doesn't really respond to anything else. They would decline if offered Shakespeare or Playhouse 90.
It's painful, but it's the truth as I've been observing it since the changeover from WB to CW. I would like to think that TPTB have seen the wisdom of putting their "runaway hit" opposite the big guns on other networks at 9:00 on Thursday. But I don't think that's it. I think they're cutting SPN loose, and good riddance, from their point of view. I'm more than willing to be proven wrong, however, and I fervently hope I am.
Edited to remove incorrect info. Apologies to any who saw it and went woohoo. I really should learn to read.

::cries and cries and cries::
Well, if Reaper is upagainst Lost and whatever CBS has to throw against it - it's going to fail. It's just not that good.
Last I heard Kripke was feeling fairly optimistic about getting a 4th season.
