His reading on the "Well, yeah.." and the "what do you mean?" is just.so. Dean's fighting to control his voice, and JA plays it so well.
God, I know. And the "It's my last year" is just so naked. When Sam says he can't, Dean's "Why not?" is so disappointed, as if he can't believe being honest with Sammy didn't actually work.
