"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Shit! And I jumped that time too. In Mal's voice, "Good show."

This is my favorite part of the series...knowing that anything is possible because the impala came back!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Even when I know what's coming it's always a shock. I jump.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Yeah, but shooting Dad would have turned Sam into Gordon.

how so?

Because books.

Jesus, what a cliffhanger. Kripke knows his stuff. And "Bad Moon Rising" in the background? Awesome.

I'm with Cass on Sam looking into the rearview at Dean. Says so much, right there.

You guys picked good episodes! We should have invited others to convert them. Then again, will anyone ever really love them like we do?

Oh that look between them in the rearview--that's the show, right there.

I just think that Sam's guilt and Dean's hatred and resentment all together would have been more than Sam could have lived with. He would have had to become as calloused as Gordon just to live with what he'd done. And Dean would never have forgiven him, I don't think. Not completely.

No I don't think Dean ever could.

probably not. and Sam probably could have lived with that if they hadn't just spent however many months season one is supposed to have encompassed roadtripping and hunting together.

I agree with you Bev. Neither brother could have survived Sam shooting John then.

I feel like I should be taking notes: 1. Dean wanted to be a fireman 2. Sam had been shopping for rings for Jess. 3. "no sir, not above everything" while looking at Dean in the rear view mirror, encapsulates the brothers relationship. Dean really needs Sam and it is so literal in that moment. 4. YED said he killed Mary and Jess because they were a distraction and got in the way. I wonder how that is going to fit with Mary "knowing" the YED and having a circle of friends that the YED killed.
