Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Just in case anyone here doesn't have her friended (hard though that may be to believe): Refur did a Ten Expressions post for "A Very Supernatural Christmas": [link]

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Okay, FINALLY saw the Christmas ep. Awwwwww! I loved it ...

except for every damn time they mentioned a plant and talked about its ookie-spookie pagan-y Mystical Meanings. Meadow sweet as a summoner of gods looking for sacrifices?! Vervain and mint as Badass Occult Plants?!

I know, I know. I need to figure out how to turn that part of my brain off for when I watch SPN. But other than that, I really loved the episode. Poor wee Dean, trying so hard to make things good for Sammy. And the amulet!

I do think my favorite Monsters o' the Week are now Madge & her husband. I couldn't stop giggling at them, even when they ripped out Sam's fingernail.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

fingernail.

Gross!! That word gives me the wiggins now. Should I be worried how much this show is psychologically scarring me? There is becoming a long list of things that creep me out due to SPN. Children, lake water, the word fingernail, saws, children. Okay, not so long, but still creepy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

They were so cheerful and bubbly with the torture!

It was awesome!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

It was awesome. I may even have to watch it again today. In fact, a supernatural christmas marathon!!

If we'd managed to get home earlier than we did last night, I was going to suggest to Paul that we kick back and watch it. Sadly, we got home after 10.

I may suggest it tonight.

Art Crawl!!!

Given that there was no Supernatural this week - I watched Led Zepplin On Demand . . . and I did get to see A Very Supernatural Christmas in HD over the weekend.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm going through serious Winchester withdrawal over here, so I wanted to toss out a suggestion:

What would y'all think of a New Year's Day SPN mini-marathon? Maybe mainline one season, or re-visit some favorites, or go back through S3?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I love the idea!

But someone at work has my S1 dvds, and I won't be home from taking Tom to the airport until about 11:00 my time, so I might not be able to participate fully.

Because books.

I was just thinking that I was going through withdrawal myself, Anne. I'm up for it.
