Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Thrive to spite them

That was really good and normally I don't like vids that use a lot of dialog in them, but this vidder did a really good job. Nice choice of music.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Those were all really nice vids.

I liked the Lovely Fool vid on that page, Beverly. "Everybody sees your light shine through, except for you." Oh Dean.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sarah MacLachlan is the Spawn of Satan, and vidders should be prevented from using her music. IJS. I still fall apart when Buffy gets on the bus.

It's the line "I don't know how to let you go" that starts the waterworks in Do What You Have to Do, though.

Consuela, it's a wonderful piece. That word gets overworked, but I really like your story. It's a well-crafted bit of realism, with a lovely warm ending.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And wonderful. As Bev says, it's an overused word, but your writing deserves it. It's just lovely and always makes me happy.

If could only choose to read one kind of writing, Gen, done as well as you do, would be what I read. Good gen is just falling into a delicious story and wading there while trying not to let the demons get you.
