Yeah, several of us find that it is not our beautiful cake.
And I have to say that if the thread becomes a place where folks talk about how obvious it is that the boys are bumping uglies? I will have to reluctantly bow out. ::shrugs::
(Not a threat! I do not control the thread! IJS.)
One of us, Jen! One of us! (A fan, I mean. Just a fan.)
We don't really discuss the cake here, though. Which is beautiful to some, and not so to others.
But we're glad to have drink the general KoolAid of SPN goodness, for sure.
Hey! Some of that KoolAid is really awesome. Some is dreadful, but some ...
I drank the kind that didn't let me see Dean/Sam, but did let me see that Jensen and Jared are in love. It is delicious. As is the KoolAid.
I will be singing that all day tomorrow.
Speaking of Sandy, she was on DOOL a couple weeks ago hitting on one of the characters in a bar. She was her usual gorgeous self and had several lines, but it doesn't look like it was more than a one time appearance. The character turned her down. Idiot.
I just kept forgetting to mention it. Mostly because I don't admit I watch the show, or record it.
And the KoolAid is delicious!!! If you want cake, just do an lj search (or until the Russians change that). Just be prepared to crack cake along with the well baked cake.
goes to sit in Consuela's corner
(even though I think the cake can be beautiful, just not for me)

Which is why it's never been discussed in here, I suspect. There are plenty of places where it can be read and discussed without making people we like and respect uncomfortable.
Plus, personally, I like that this isn't really a fic thread. We talk about fic every once in a while and vids and articles and hot gluing plastic animals to ball caps - but we focus on the show and the meta here. I like that we have that.
hot gluing plastic animals to ball caps
?????
Wait. I don't want to know.

Instead of going to bed like a sane person would after having worked a 12-hour shift during which there was a very complicated delivery[1], I just watched Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. And I... Gah. Buh. For many minutes afterwards, reduced to nonsensical monosyllables.
I guess I'm not the most observant TV watcher, because the whole time Dean was saying that dead things should stay dead, I thought he was trying to convince himself that he needed to let his parents go, let them "stay dead" by starting to accept their deaths.
Which was probably part of it, yeah, but until his conversation with Sam at the end, it hadn't even occured to me that he was thinking of himself and how he shouldn't still be alive. Ooof. What a terrible, terrible revelation. And my heart just broke for poor Sam, who loves his brother[2] and only wants to make everything better, and how crushed he looked when he realized that he couldn't.
Yep, big pitcher of KoolAid roiling in my belly.
[1] Mom and baby are fine.
[2] In this instance I don't mean it like that.
Wait. I don't want to know.
But you really do! Apparently Jared was so happy when they returned to start filming S3, he was running around the set with a glue gun, gluing little plastic animals to everyone's caps.
Because he is the President of Adorkaville.
