JDM isn't *pretty* in the same way -- age (wrinkles, scars, a touch of gray), and therefore experience, is so much of what makes him hot, to me.
He carries his age very well and that ad just looks creapy. And not in a good way.

He looks like somebody took an eraser to his head! Which is exactly what happened.
I'm also pretty sure the movie he's promoting is a romantic comedy, so unless the title is Robert Mitchum Meets Cute, one would think a different picture would work better, you know? I mean, also, when he smiles he looks 12 years old, without the need for an eraser.
