"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Dude, if we were making out, I would totally call him Tristan.

Okay, back from my happy place.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I just rewatched last week's episode (or rather, it was playing as I stared at the PC), and I was wondering when Bella got close enough to Dean to lift the winning lottery tickets from him. They had the standoff across the fire, they tossed the rabbit's foot around, they snarled at each other, and then she left. Unless she's telekinetic too, how the hell did she get the tickets?

And upon reflection, I have to agree with whoever it was who said that it was a bit out of character for Dean to have reacted so calmly when she shot Sam. I don't think he would have accepted it quite so cavalierly.

Thrive to spite them

Dean wasn't wearing his jacket, it was on something, he put the lottery tickets in that. Then when Bella and Dean were exchanging parting salvos she was standing next to it, with her hand on his jacket. She lifted the tickets then and he didn't realize it until he put the jacket on.

Unless you define cavalierly as separating her head from her body. It worked out for me because of all the comedy but I agree with all of you that think it was writing in spite of Dean's character and not for it.

I'm afraid they are setting it up for "I hate you!" "I hate you too!" Close-up on intense kiss between Dean and Bela. Both characters deserve better.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I don't think he would have accepted it quite so cavalierly.
Exactly my point.

Nobody puts Baby in the corner shoots Sammy in the shoulder.

Dude, if we were making out, I'd totally call him a lot worse.

Because books.

My reaction, though, was with her still training the gun on Sam, and her already having shot at him, that Dean wasn't about to wig out, you know? Slow burn, sure, but you gotta deal with the chick with the gun calmly.

I've ... learned how to fanwank, haven't I?

It is a wonderfully useful skill.
