P-C, could you take that to Spoilers Lite?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I was wondering about that, Plei. Sorry.
MWAH!
Danke!
the female hunter from the premiere was black. though i get what you mean. there isn't a wide range of people who aren't white on this show.Giving the Devil (or WB) their due, in three episodes, we have maybe seen more people of color and women in varying situations than I recall in much of the first two seasons.
Tamara was competent, black, unevil, and uncrisped on the ceiling after the first ep. Isaac was a hunter and then dead, but we kill a lot of people on this show. Ruby was maybe a little too competent and hair tossy until we found out she was a demon with motivations that unclear doesn't even begin to describe. Bella is, well, she's there (and Gwen, but so far lacking the mad chemistry with Gunn Dean.). Now Gordon's back and just as unstable and creepy, to me, as ever.
It's not perfect, by a long shot. But it's not all white casting, with the women either one-dimensional evil or frying up while wearing white nighties so far either.
Sam's face after he lost his shoe and Dean asking him what was wrongIt was slapstick, but the SamandDean interactions last night just made me smile a little smile of joy. Boys, you may have been cursed, but you made me glad you were back.
Gwen was exactly what I thought, Cass.
Huh. We're getting up there on "Gwen"s in the conversational frame of reference.

I made it in 3 levels of zoom. This is my life.
A black male ally who lives is on my S3 wish list.
It'd be pretty freakin' nice to have.

Having made a Yuletide joke, I realize that I should probably go to bed now.
Short of introducing another male black character, it might be nice for Gordon to eventually be redeemed and change his ways and become an ally of Sam and Dean.
Nah, I just want Gordon to go away, having served his purpose in setting the creepy hunter on his path of wackitude. And then the creepy hunter can be redeemed and end up being an ally (and then die so that Bobby doesn't have to).
I now see what was meant by wishing the gals didn't have such silly not-normal names. Next we'll have guys being named Tristan, Antonio and Heathcliff.
